I just wanted to have a look – I don’t currently need dog care

I couldn’t find a suitable sitter near me

The services offered didn’t match what I need

Searching and browsing on the platform was cumbersome or unclear

I do need care, but I don’t (yet) feel comfortable leaving my dog with a stranger

I’ve found another solution in the meantime (family, friends, another service)

There were no or very few sitters in my area

No sitter with experience for my dog’s breed / size / special needs

The profiles didn’t convince me (too few reviews, little information)

The sitter didn’t reply to my request, or replied too late

Short-notice / spontaneous care (today or tomorrow)

I wanted to meet the sitter first before paying

I wasn’t sure what happens if the sitter cancels (refund)

The amount was too high to block in advance

My preferred payment method wasn’t available (e.g. TWINT, invoice)

I prefer to pay the sitter directly (cash / TWINT)

Not clear which services a sitter actually offers

Too many steps until I could send a request

Meeting the sitter in person before I book

An official training / certification of the sitter

Another online service (e.g. Pawshake, Rover)

A kennel or professional care outside of apps

Being able to meet the sitter first, without paying in advance

Paying only after the care has taken place

A better search with clear filters and visible availability
